China to Stimulate its Telecom Companies to Invest in SE Asia

The Chinese premier Wen Jiabao told a forum with 300 regional business leaders in Kunming, China that the country will hand out government-backed loans to Chinese companies that do telecommunication projects in poor areas of Southeast Asian countries, including Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar.
